Here are some Web sites, most of which have been suggested by Jeff Whitnack, RRT, RPFT editor of the AARC journal, that you might want to look at for up to date information. Mostly you can review only the abstracts but if you find an interesting article your librarian will usually get it for you. More sites will be added in the near future.

The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (http://ajrccm.atsjournals.org/)

This is one of the major journals to keep an eye on. Click on Subscriptions, then select Citetrack: your personal alerts to have the contents of each issue e-mailed to you.

Anesthesiology (http://www.anesthesiology.org/)

• Click on the eAlert link at the top of the page to sign up for a monthly e-mail of journal contents.

CHEST (http://www.chestjournal.org/)

• Click on Email Alerts on the main menu to receive a contents e-mail.
